Default Claim Resource skill from Ghostly Hero

What category does this skill belong in?

is it a "spell" ?

then, would choking gas / maelstrom interrupt it?

and how many of "claim resource" skill does Ghostly hero have?
I've heard that he had multi slots of "claim resource", so even if you interrupt him once, he can recast it immediately after.

Claim resource is a skill, and spell interrupts don't work on it. Indeed, he can take multiple distracting shots and keep using it, so either he's immune to distracting shot or he has multiple claims on his bar.

would like to try diversion and distracting skills... never had the time to do it since almost all the team out there go "let them cap it first".
